ARE YOU ANTI-CHRIST?

SERMON ON THE NET

ARE --->YOU<----ANTI-CHRIST?

To simply say
NO to this question; that you are not anti-Christ may not be derived correctly, as easily
as you may believe.

One must first define anti-Christ....but then whose definition do we use;...yours...mine...someone else s' or
even perhaps Christ' himself.

The prefix { anti- } comes from the Latin which means against and Christos, means Christ.

According to at least one common dictionary the term anti-Christ means:
an opponent of or disbeliever in CHRIST.
A second definition depicts another sense of anti-Christ in the HOLY BIBLE, "the great antagonist of Christ, expected to spread great evil before the end of the world, but finally to be conquered at Christs' second coming."

The
latter tends to be the more commonly accepted notion of anti-Christ.

However to repeat the question....ARE---->YOU<----anti-Christ? is the primary topic of this writing. So as to avoid confusion of the definition or sense in which {KJV} anti-Christ is defined; let us first appeal to the HOLY BIBLE itself where Christ himself defines that which is anti-Christ.

In the Book of Matthew the twelfth chapter and the thirtieth verse; Matt 12:30 He gives us conclusive straight to the
point perspective of the term here where he says
" He that is not with me is against me."

It's the word "against" which means "anti" that becomes of significance here, because Christ himself seems to leave no
room for doubt or question as to what anti-Christ means according to Him.

Therefore by deriving the definition from Christ himself, a determination can be rightfully made as to whether or not
--->YOU<----are anti-Christ. Other more descriptive scriptures in the HOLY BIBLE (KJV); seem to illustrate or point to the
fact that, anti-Christ is not just one person but many people or things plural, which are or can become anti-Christ.

It is written in the book of first John the second chapter and beginning at the eighteenth verse: (1 John 2:18)
which reads as follows:

Little children, it is the last time: and as you have heard that anti-Christ shall come, even now are there
many anti-Christs; whereby we know that it is the last time.

The twenty-second verse says:

"Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denieth the Father and the Son."

Although many interpretations and differing doctrines come from many denominational teachings that vary from denomination to denomination, from Church to Church; tradition to tradition even from State to State or Nation to
Nation; the remaining original doctrine of Christ extant to this day from the Old King James Version of the HOLY BIBLE , explains What anti-Christ is, without the need for any real scholastic translation or interpretation being necessary.

A much more serious definition of anti-Christ is given in the HOLY BIBLE (KJV) that Christ himself defines succinctly. In the Book of Matthew the twelfth chapter beginning at the thirty first verse (Matt 12:31) Which reads as follows:

" Wherefore I say unto you, all manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy( --->against<---) the HOLY GHOST shall not be forgiven unto men; And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh (--->against<---) the HOLY GHOST, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither the world to come.
Notice again here the same word (against) is used in this text which also means (anti).

The purpose of the Messiah himself replying to men in this fashion and bringing this up in the first place, was to address the Pharisees and Scribes around him.
Religious men who regarded themselves as Spiritual leaders of the people in the community, but could not do the miraculous works of the HOLY GHOST.

Which works come from Almighty GOD and are HOLY. And men who profess to be ordained from the Father as the Pharisees, Scribes and Sadducees claimed, should have very well recognized this, but did not.

For the miracles themselves being performed were never brought into question as non-occurring nor any writing concerning them made mention of them as non-occurring; not even from Josephus, but the source of the miracles instead were regarded as dubious.

These men had the temerity to refer to these things as coming from an "unclean Spirit" and spoke against the miracles in that manner.
Which the Messiah in turn expressed that this is blasphemy (referring to the work of the HOLY GHOST as "an unclean spirit" or from the "Devil". Blasphemy is a direct offense to ALMIGHTY GOD himself!

The Messiah speaks after-wards and says
"But I say unto you , that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words shalt thou be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned".

Curiosity should leave us all with the question of how men will prove to Almighty GOD that:
a) he does not exit
b) that he is not ALMIGHTY and cannot perform miracles and
c) that there is no Judgment day when they stand before him in Judgment and are condemned.
